Servings 24 cranberry brie bites

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cranberry sauce fresh or canned
  • 1 8-oz. tube crescent dough
  • 1/4 18-oz. wheel brie
  • 1/4 cup pecans chopped

Instructions

  • First preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • Next, grease a mini cupcake tin with Crisco or spray with cooking spray so that the bites easily come out of the pan when they are done baking.
  • Flour a clean surface and roll out the crescent dough, making sure that the pre-cut seams disappear.
  • Cut the rolled out crescent dough into 24 squares. (You might have a little dough left over. I just made a few extra bites.)
  • Place the squares into the mini cupcake tin molds.
  • Put a small scoop of cranberry sauce into the center of each crescent dough square.
  • Slice the brie into small rectangular pieces and place each piece of brie on top of the cranberry sauce in every bite.
  • Chop the pecans and sprinkle a pinch on top of each bite.
  • Bake until the pastry is golden. This should take about 10-15 minutes.
